While only time will tell when reality TV romantics Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum will walk to the altar, the star of The Bachelorette and the soul mate she searched for on the ABC series walked down the aisle at Christ Church in New York City on December 11, 2011 with their little love Boo, a two-tear-old Yorkshire Terrier who was among the team of tail-waggers who received a benediction during ASPCA‘s third annual Blessing of the Animals.

An homage to all creatures great and small, a plethora of pet parents flocked to the house of worship with their furry, finned and feathered friends to see Senior Rabbi Peter J. Rubenstein and Senior Minister Stephen Bauman, who offered prayers that all the animals live long and happy lives.

As the Brooklyn Youth Choir performed Yuletide tunes, Boo’s paparazzi magnet parents mingled with other famous fans of Fidos and felines, including Wendy Diamond of AnimalFair.com and her Guinness Book of World Records title-holding Rover Lucky, entrepreneur Dylan Lauren, two adorable adoptables from New York City’s ASPCA who were chosen to attend by Sports Illustrated model Irina Shayk, and New York Post columnist Cindy Adams.

A holiday happening with heart, during the event the ASPCA collected donations of new pet toys for the dogs and cats who are waiting for a forever home at New york City Animal Care & Control.
