Emmylou Harris To Host Dog Adoption Event

Dog devotees are singing the praises of iconic country crooner Emmylou Harris, who will host the second annual Miracle on Music Row pet adoption event to shine a spotlight on Spots who are waiting for a forever home the singer’s dog rescue, Bonaparte’s Retreat.

Combining tail-wagging fun with toe-tapping tunes, the event will include a a pooch parade, the chance to have your pup’s picture taken with Santa, a silent auction, treats for pets, adorable adoptables and performances by Emmylou Harris (who was recently announced one of Best Friends Animal Society’s Acclaimed Ambassadors), Grammy-nominated duo The Civil Wars, Mike Farris and Buddy Miller.

Miracle on Music Row is a free event, but a donation of $10 is suggested.

When: December 17, 2011 from 10:30 A.M. – 2:30 P.M.
