Rodger Saffold may be accustomed to hearing the roar of the crowd as he protects his team mates on the playing field, but now the NFL offensive tackle is being cheered by dog devotees for tackling the issue of animal homelessness.

A member of the St. Louis Rams, Saffold has joined the team at Animal Protective Association of Missouri to highlight the option of adoption in “Home Game,” a PSA that will tickle your funny bone and tug at your heart strings.

Founded in 1922, Animal Protective Association of Missouri provides comfort and care for orphaned canines and cats through adoption services, a veterinary clinic, lost and found assistance and educating the public on animal welfare issues.
