As you celebrate the holidays, “Raise Your Glass” in a toast to Pink for her help in saving the life a puppy in peril.
TMZ reports that the singer sprang into action when she read an internet report about the abused dog, who had suffered three broken legs when thrown into a river from an L.A. overpass.
The chart-topper immediately contacted Ace of Hearts Foundation– a non-profit which rescues L.A. area dogs on their last day at kill shelters– paying $5,000 for the pup’s surgery.
Thanks to Pink, the rescued Rover will be able to pose for a “Family Portrait” this Christmas with new pet parents.
If you would like to help to make the Ace of Hearts Foundation’s dream of saving 20 dogs before Christmas come true, you can make a donation by clicking Gift of Life on the organization’s Facebook page. You can also help to raise funds for the rescue by purchasing a rendition of “My Way” as sung by TMZ’s Harvey Levin. Sold on iTunes, proceeds benefit both Ace of Hearts and Pet Orphans of Southern California.
