Purina, The Adventures of Tintin Help Therapy Dog Organizations

In celebration of the animated antics of a boy and his barking buddy in the much-anticipated 3-D family flick The Adventures of Tintin, Purina® Dog Chow® has partnered with Paramount Pictures to shine a spotlight on the real life bonds between hero dogs and those they help.
Through January 3, 2012, for each pet parent who opts to “like” Purina Dog Chow Brand Dog Food’s Facebook page the pet food company will donate $1 (up to a total of $150,000), which will be split equally among the following three deserving service and therapy dog organizations:
- Patriot Rovers Inc. – committed to rescuing, training and deploying psychiatric service dogs that will provide support 24/7 for veterans to enhance their lives. www.patriotrovers.org
- Reading Education Assistance Dogs® (R.E.A.D.) – the groundbreaking literacy support program that helps children discover the joys and rewards of books and reading, through the experience of reading to a best friend and great listener…a therapy dog! www.therapyanimals.org/R.E.A.D.html
- Delta Society – an international nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching people’s lives through positive connections with companion, therapy and service animals www.deltasociety.org
Dog devotees can generate more donations by sharing the page with their friends. An additional $1 will be donated for each friend who visits the promotion page by clicking on the link in the shared message.
