Actress Rachelle Lefevre, who starred in the ABC series Off the Map, is helping to put shelter dogs on the map through Best Friends Animal Society’s Invisible Dogs campaign.

An Acclaimed Ambassador for the renowned non-profit organization, the actress– who can currently be seen on the CBS drama A Gifted Man– has stepped in front of the camera to ask dog devotees to join the Invisible Dogs movement by pledging to:

  • Take a photo of a shelter dog and share the picture through social media in an effort to find a possible pet parent. (For an example, if you are on Twitter, use the hashtag #InvisibleDogs to reach a Rover-loving audience.)
  • Walk a shelter dog
  • Adopt a dog from a shelter
  • Join or start an ID (Invisible Dogs) walking event

People who are passionate about pups can also promote the paws cause by purchasing an Invisible Dog sticker, leash or T-shirt, which are available through Best Friends Animal Society‘s online store.
