Celebrity Pug Visits Golden Globes Gifting Suites

Uggie may have stolen the show when he stepped on stage with his co-stars at the Golden Globes, but prior to the awards presentation ‘pup’arazzi magnet Phoebe Rose from A Traveling Pug was the Spot in the spotlight as she lapped up the opportunity to schmooze with celebrities at two Golden Globes gifting suites.

A Pug with her paw on the pulse of Hollywood, Phoebe Rose enjoyed watching a gathering of glitterati get glam at Wella Beauty Bar at Nine Zero One Salon in West Hollywood. An array of A-listers waltzed through the door, including Karina Smirnoff, Haylie Duff, Melissa Ryecroft, Giuliana Rancic and Jane By Design cast member Rob Mayes, who confided to the roving Rover reporter that he’s a new doggie Daddy to a Boxer named Rock. Dubbed “a perfect dog” by his high profile pet parent, Rock was adopted from L.A.’s Boxer Rescue.

Phoebe Rose developed a case of puppy love for actor Kodi Smit-Phee (The Road, Let Me In) who is set to star as Benvolio in the romantic retelling of Shakespeare’s star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet.

The magic hands of Kerry from Exhale Spa in Santa Monica melted Phoebe Rose’s canine cares with a relaxing massage:

Phoebe Rose loves Breaking Bad star R J Mitte‘s dogged devotion to his barking buddies (a Scottish Terrier and a Havanese). The actor teamed up with True Blood cast member Lindsey Haun to create a makeshift doggie daycare for their four-pawed pals when they were on location filming the upcoming thriller House of Last Things.

After a day on the set of the hit series Criminal Minds, Joe Mantegna goes home to Chooch and Roxy, two Maltese dogs who have starring roles in the actor’s life. Also a famous fan of felines, the actor posed with his Siamese cat Juliet for the 2011 Tony La Russa Animal Rescue Foundation calendar.

Phoebe Rose surveyed the star-studded scene at GBK’s Golden Globes gift lounge at the pet-friendly hotel L’Ermitage with Christopher Heyerdahl, who portrayed vampire Marcus in the Twilight franchise and currently stars in the AMC series Hell on Wheels.

“I’m ready for my close up, Mr. DeMille.” Phoebe Rose thought after a consultation with a professional from Tweezerman.

Getting snapped alongside celebrities is always fun, but nothing brings a smile to this pug’s mug like posing for a photo with her Mom, Sheila Appleby Williams.
