Miley Cyrus Adopts Another Rescue Dog

Mother’s Day held a special meaning this year for new pet parent Miley Cyrus, who has just welcomed another four-legged baby into her fur family.

The famous fan of Fidos Tweeted “Just got my first Mothers Day card 🙂 proud mama to Lila, Floyd, Ziggy, Happy, & Mary Jane ❤”  The last name on the list is the latest addition to Cyrus’s barking brood, and like her new sibling Happy, who made headlines when he was adopted by the paparazzi magnet in early May, Mary Jane is a rescue Rover.

Like all new mothers, Miley proudly showed a snapshot of her new doggie daughter on Twitter:

While the star has yet to reveal the story behind Mary Jane’s adoption, her new brother Happy (seen in the photo below) made his way into the teen entertainer’s life thanks to Saving Spot!, a Los Angeles-based non-profit which rescued the Rottweiler/Beagle puppy and the rest of his litter mates from a cardboard box outside of a Walmart.

Saving Spot! Dog Rescue, which was founded by Spot! pet boutique, offers a second chance to dogs in Los Angeles County and city shelters.
