Reality Star Auctions Wedding Dress for Washington Humane Society

An online auction of a reality personality’s wedding dress is helping to design a better reality for homeless dogs and cats.

Thanks to Cat Ommanney from The Real Housewives of D.C. and NeverLikedItAnyway.com– a website where painful reminders of a past love can be turned into profit– fans of Fidos, felines, fashion and famous faces have the opportunity to walk away with the wedding dress worn by the former Bravo TV star for her 2008 walk down the aisle.

Proving that compassion is always in fashion, the proceeds from the wedding dress auction will benefit The Washington Humane Society, which cares for almost 30,000 companion animals each year.

Ommanney’s “I do” dress– a cotton candy-colored creation embellished with lace, illusion and ribbons by designer Claudia– was purchased for $1,800. The ‘break-up’ price on NeverLikedItAnyway.com is $1,000. The auction closes July 1st.
