Atlanta Braves Play Ball for Homeless Pets

When it comes to helping orphan animals, the Atlanta Braves are always ready to step up to the plate. Throughout the 2012 season the players have literally gone to bat during special game nights to raise funds for the Homeless Pets Foundation, a non-profit which has rescued more than 10,000 canines and cats since its founding in 1998, and as August ends the team will once again play ball for the paws cause.

All proceeds from ticket sales from the Homeless Pets Foundation website for the Braves/Phillies game will benefit The Homeless Pets Clubs of Atlanta, an organization associated with The Homeless Pets Foundation which allows students, civic leaders and business proprietors the chance to support animal rescue through sponsorship of shelter pets and promotion of the adoption option.

Tickets: $10 (seating in the Upper Pavilion)

When: August 31, 2012 at 7:35

Where: Turner Field at 755 Hank Aaron Drive in Atlanta, Georgia
