Celebrities Attend Costume Party for Animals in Fur Dog Rescue

Scaring up a little fun along with some much needed funds, doggedly devoted stars recently stepped out in Halloween style for a haunted house costume party to help a California rescue’s ongoing efforts to find forever homes for orphan dogs.

Emceed by former MadTV star Debra Wilson at Smooth Sound Multimedia in Van Nuys, comedian Andy Dick, former child star (and real life veterinarian) Danielle Spencer of What’s Happening!! fame; actor Kevin Dobson (Kojak, Knot’s Landing, Days of Our Lives); Nigel Gibbs (Breaking Bad, House); pop culture personality Rodney Allen Rippy; actress Barbara Niven (The Bold and the Beautiful, Pensacola: Wings of Gold);TV/movie writer Dave Shelton (Everybody Loves Raymond, National Lampoon), actress Liane Curtis and Jennifer Day of Jennifer Day TV were among the glitterati who gathered for the Raise the Woof Haunted Dog House fundraiser in support of Angels in Fur Dog Rescue.

An all volunteer non-profit, Angels in Fur Dog Rescue saves Spots from kill shelters or neglectful guardians, promotes the importance of spaying/neutering and finds loving families for their resident Rovers.
