No one throws a “Pittie” party quite like Love-A-Bull, the Austin, Texas-based non-profit which educates and advocates for dogs whose public image has been undeservedly damaged due to prejudice, and in a show of support for Pit Bulls, Central Texans are getting ready for two days of Rover-related revelry which will kick off with a Halloween-themed VIP party.

Raising funds for Love-A-Bull while raising the roof, costume-clad dog devotees are invited to Austin Speed Shop on October 27th to mingle with personalities who have a passion for Pits, including Jake from Animal Planet’s Pit Bulls and Parolees, former MMA fighter Gordon ‘Shotgun’ Shell, Karma the Flying Pit Bull, and possibly surprise appearances from other special guests.

Attendees can drink toasts to their tail-wagging chums with complimentary beverages, dine on free food and take part in a costume contest, all for a paws cause.

Tickets, which are $50 per person, can be purchased online.

When: October 27, 2012 from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Where: Austin Speed Shop at 1414 South Lamar Boulevard in Austin, Texas
