Good Morning America Co-Anchors to Host 2012 DogCatemy Rescue Awards

As co-anchors on Good Morning America they brighten each workday for TV viewers, and on December 17th Lara Spencer, Josh Elliott and Sam Champion will help to shine a spotlight on a renowned non-profit that brings the promise of a brighter tomorrow to orphan pets.

The three GMA co-hosts will share co-hosting duties at the 2012 DogCatemy Rescue Awards, a star-studded soiree benefiting North Shore Animal League America, the world’s largest no-kill animal rescue and adoption organization which provides comfort and care for approximately 20,000 animals annually.

Taking place at the elegant Big Apple eatery Bridgewaters, the gala will offer attendees the chance to star gaze for a good cause, with glitterati guests including Cesar Millan; NCIS: Los Angeles star Renee Felice Smith; Beth Stern; Law and Order: Criminal Intent star Kathryn Erbe; Josh Flitter from Disney Channel’s Santa Buddies; Pix11 News anchor Jodi Applegate and YES Network broadcaster Michael Kay.

Tickets for the red carpet event, which range from $350 for regular admission to $500 for gold (preferred) seating, can be purchased online.
