Betty White Receives “Who-manitarian of the Year” Award

Every Who down in Whoville– and some lucky fans of the holiday classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas— enjoyed a golden opportunity to thank Betty White for being a friend to Fidos and felines by presenting the A-list animal advocate with the “Who-manitarian of the Year” Award at Universal Studios Hollywood’s Grinchmas™ holiday celebration.

Beginning December 8th and 9th, then daily from December 15th until the end of 2012, families can see the L.A. area rescue dogs who have stepped into the role of the Grinch’s kind-hearted canine Max in the nightly run of the “Grinchmas” show and have their pictures taken with one of the canines and the lovable curmudgeon as they enjoy a day filled with traditional winter fun.

Potential pet parents can also discover adorable adoptable dogs and cats who are hoping to land a starring role in the life of someone to love during the Grinchmas celebration’s annual Max to the Rescue: Have a Heart Adoption Fair, which takes place December 14th and 15th.
