Join the #FeedingProject to Help Feed Dogs!

In just a few hours, we hope you’ll join us on a Twitter party to help feed homeless dogs! As you know, we’re ambassadors for the PEDIGREE® Feeding Project, an initiative to help feed adoptable dogs around the country. This program has been underway in Nashville and Chicago but now it’s expanding…and PEDIGREE® would like YOUR help in selecting the next community!

Last month, we traveled to Nashville to learn more about this project and to watch the filming of a PSA at the Nashville Humane Association. But we couldn’t tell you one part of the puzzle: just which celebrity was filming the PSA and helping promote this great cause.

Today, though, the announcement was official! Dog lover Miranda Lambert (who has her own shelter in Oklahoma) is the face behind this campaign. Today she’s making a media blitz and will be making time tonight to be on a Twitter party, tweeting live at 8pm ET. Join the Twitter party under the hashtag #FeedingProject. As panelists on the party, we’ll be tweeting (we’re @dogtipper) and watch for plenty of activity from @PedigreeUS. The party will include some great prizes as well…plus you’ll learn more about how you can nominate your city for the Feeding Project or visit the #FeedingProject app on Facebook to learn more!

We’ll be bringing you lots more information over the coming weeks but, first, here’s a PSA that Miranda Lambert filmed at the Nashville Humane Association during our visit:

Disclosure: Pedigree paid our travel expenses to Nashville to learn about the Feeding Project and we also receive a stipend for our participation. All opinions, as always, are entirely our own; we’re so excited to spread the word about ways to help adoptable pets!
