Luke Perry Shines Spotlight on Two Adoptable Dogs

Actor Luke Perry, who gained fame on a TV series that focused on life in the 90210 zip code, has stepped in front of the camera in an effort to find a permanent address for two adorable adoptables.

A doggedly devoted Dad to a Boxer named Angel (and an ambassador for The Hallmark Channel’s Pet Project initiative), the star quickly bonded with two sweet senior Spots on the set of Access Hollywood during the entertainment news program’s monthly pet adoption segment.

Lapping up the limelight this month were six-year-old Cocker Spaniel mix Nina and 12-year-old Australian Shepherd mix Figo, who currently reside at Best Friends Animal Society Los Angeles.

Since its start in February 2011 every dog showcased on Access Hollywood‘s pet adoption segment has found a forever home, with the exception of Toronto, an eight-year-old Pomeranian mix who is still hoping to land a starring role in the life of someone to love.
