Black Tie Optional Ring in Oscar Swag Bag Helps Animal Rescue

While time will tell which actors win accolades at The 85th annual Academy Awards, an A-list accessory that will be presented to stars at the 2013 GBK Oscar Celebrity gift lounge has already won the hearts of dog devotees for playing a supporting role in animal welfare.

Combining fashion with philanthropy, designer Kimberley A. Spector of Nair & Bjorn has created the Black Tie Optional Swarovski crystal ring— a silver-plated, adjustable ring crowned with a variety of black, grey and clear Swarovski crystals which are nestled in black clay.

The ring is the latest in a line of Nair & Bjorn jewelry which have been gifted to the glitterati. Kimberley A. Spector has previously fashioned pieces for such high-profile personalities as Sarah Jessica Parker, Vanessa Lachey, Tyra Banks and Allison Sweeney; the company’s Silver Midnight Necklace was included in the 2012 GBK Primetime Emmys Gift Lounge, and Nair & Bjorn necklaces were created especially for the series Pretty Little Liars and The Vampire Diaries.

Offering glamor for a good cause, a portion of the proceeds from Nair & Bjorn’s bijoux benefit Barks of Love Animal Rescue, an all-breed, all-foster non-profit in Orange County, California which saves canines and cats from kill shelters.
