Celebrities at Pre-Oscar Event Show Support for Tees that Help Pets in Need

Hollywood stars may don designer gowns and tuxedos for the 85th annual Academy Awards, but at a pre-Oscar event celebrities wore their hearts on their sleeves as they showed their support for Steps4Paws– a line of graphic tees that’s helping to design a brighter future for homeless animals.

An animal-loving luminary who has used his star wattage to shine a spotlight on such animal welfare organizations as Best Friends Animal Society, Precious Paws and The Humane Society of the United States, Eric Roberts was happy to sign his pet’s name on a promotional T-shirt.

Nominated in the category of Best Actress for her portrayal of Hushpuppy in Beasts of the Southern Wild, Quvenzhane Wallis said: “Steps4Paws” Love that you are saving lives, one doggy at a time!”

Regardless of whether Argo wins a coveted golden statuette for Best Picture, actor Matt Nolan has won the hearts of dog devotees:

Actress Marilu Henner wrote Pablo– the name of her “puppy love”– on her “Loyal + True” T-shirt:

Perennial star Connie Stevens stopped by to show her support for Steps4Paws:

Launching at retail stores nationwide in March, Steps4Paws is working to raise awareness of the option of pet adoption, with a portion of the clothing’s proceeds benefiting L.A. area rescue organizations, including Best Friends Animal Society.
