Fans of reality TV and Rovers are cordially invited to tune in to the TLC series Cake Boss to watch a barking bride and her well-groomed grrrroom pledge their dogged devotion, all in support of a paws cause.

Airing February 4th, the episode “Crane Cake and Puppy Love” will feature the doggy I do’s of Baby Hope Diamond– a senior Coton de Tulear who was adopted by Animal Fair magazine founder Wendy Diamond– and charitable tail-wagger Chilly Pasternak, a rescue dog who helps his pet parents at a hospital which provides low cost advanced surgery and dental care for pets in danger of euthanasia.

Along with confection perfection by the Cake Boss himself, the ‘pup’tials– which were orchestrated by celebrity wedding planner Harriette Rose Katz– will also include a pet food buffet courtesy of Halo, Purely for Pets; bridal party pup wear by famed dog designers Roberto Negrin and Anthony Rubio, and a canine wedding dress created by Michelle and Henry Roth.

A happening with heart, proceeds from the Guinness Book of World Records-holding event– which took place in July at the Jumeirah Essex House Hotel– benefited the Lucky Diamond Critical Care Ward at The Humane Society of New York.

TLC unleashes the Spot-centric Cake Boss episode on February 4th at 10 p.m. ET. If you miss the premiere of “Crane Cake and Puppy Love,” you won’t be in the dog house, as TLC will air the episode again on February 7th at 7 p.m. ET.

I agree with his initial remark, it is nuts. Obviously too much free time on her hands, she could have just handed the check to the Humane Society. All about the owners, as usual.
