NCIS: Los Angeles Star Renee Felice Smith Tour for Life Spokesperson

Renée Felice Smith, who stars as intelligence analyst Nell Jones on the hit series NCIS: Los Angeles, has taken on the role of spokesperson for North Shore Animal League America’s 2013 Tour for Life.

A long time supporter of the renowned nonprofit, the actress- who has helped with North Shore’s Pet Adoptathon and attended the DogCatemy Rescue Awards– is following in the footsteps of previous high-profile personalities who have held the position, including Mya, Wynonna Judd and Cyndi Lauper.

Held in partnership with Purina ONE®, the 13th annual Tour for Life is the world’s largest cooperative national adoption initiative, with four mobile adoption units traveling to 51 cities in 27 state, plus Washington D.C. Last year the adoption effort helped more than 1,500 companion animals across the country find forever homes.

The event will kick off at North Shore Animal League America’s Port Washington, New York Adoption Headquarters at 11 a.m. on March 6th.

The 2013 Tour for Life will travel more than 17,000 miles for the sake of homeless pets. Visit North Shore Animal League America’s website for a list of all the stops.
