Celebrities to Attend Dogs for the Deaf Fundraiser

Dog devotees are invited to raise their glasses in honor of Rovers who offer people a helping paw at an upcoming star-studded soiree, Live from New York…it’s Dogs for the Deaf!

Held in partnership with Animal Haven, on April 13th philanthropic fans of Fidos and famous faces alike can ‘paw’ty with Ginger, a Dogs for the Deaf Hearing Dog who will show off her skills, and other talented tail-waggers who have been trained by the renowned non-profit organization which has been offering shelter Spots a new lease on life as service dogs from the past 35 years.

The guest list for the gathering includes the following animal-loving luminaries:

  • Celebrity pet expert Andrea Arden
  • Ryan Lane, a star of the ABC Family series Switched at Birth
  • Switched at Birth star Katie Leclerc
  • The Real Housewives of New York City star Sonja Tremont-Morgan
  • Devon Haas, the young founder of the Kids Army
  • Izabella St. James, the author of Bunny Tales: Behind Closed Doors at the Playboy Mansion
  • Fitness expert John Basedow
  • Lenay Dunn from MTV’s 10 on Top
    • Comedy writer/performer/podcaster and author Julie Klausner, who will step into the role of emcee for the evening.

    Admission: Through April 4, 2013, advance registration is $150 per person (of which $60 is tax deductible). After April 4st, registration is $200 per person, while space lasts.

    When: April 13, 2013 from 7 – 10 p.m.

    Where: Helen Mills Event Space and Theater in New York City
