The catwalk will become the canine walk on April 13th as trendsetting Spots and doggedly devoted friends of Fidos ‘put on the dog’ for a paws cause.

Hosted by E! News correspondent Ashlan Gorse, the Fashion for Paws Runway Show will also feature couture-conscious human models (including CNN’s Philippe Cousteau) who have raised a minimum of $5,000 for the animal welfare organization in the weeks prior to stepping on stage.

Since its start in 2007, Fashion for Paws has raised $2.2 million for the Washington Humane Society.

Helping approximately 30,000 animals each year, the Washington Humane Society is the only Congressionally-chartered animal welfare agency in the nation.

When: April 13, 2013 from 8 p.m. – midnight

Where: National Building Museum at 401 F Street, NW in Washington, DC
