Washington Nationals Go to Bat for Washington Humane Society

Hitting a home run in the hearts of dog devotees, the Washington Nationals will go to bat for a paws cause at the team’s first Pups in the Park of the 2013 season.

On April 14th pooches can promenade in a Pup Parade before sitting with their pet parents in the Outfield Reserved section to watch the Nationals take on the Atlanta Braves.

Proceeds from the tickets of tail-wagging attendees will benefit the Washington Humane Society.

Can’t make it to the game on April 14th? You won’t be in the dog house, as the Nationals will step up to the plate to help homeless pets again with Pups in the Park┬áball games on May 11th, June 9th and September 14th.

Tickets: Human ticket for Outfield reserved section $22; dog ticket $8

When: April 14, 2013 at 1:35 p.m.

Where: Nationals Park in Washington, DC
