During an April 29th visit to the Boston Medical Center to show his support for those injured during the recent Boston Marathon tragedy, the big screen star with a big heart met some of North Shore Animal League America’s Mutt-i-grees, who are helping to heal the emotional wounds of victims.
Making an impression on the actor, Spacey has now welcomed one of North Shore’s resident Rovers into his heart and home, naming her Boston in tribute to the city, PeoplePets.com reports.
Following in the footsteps of Billy Joel, Denise Richards and fashion designer Marc Bouwer, the actor is just one in a long list of luminaries who have recently adopted from North Shore Animal League America, which is the world’s largest no-kill animal rescue and adoption organization.
