We’ve got some exciting news to share: tonight our DOG TRAVEL EXPERTS will be broadcasting in simulcast into the brand-new Halo City Tails NYC Pop-Up shop in Manhattan! The shop celebrates its grand opening today, and we’re so proud to be a part of this month-long event that will include lots of pet adoptions, appearances by expert guests, and more.
The Halo City Tails Pop Up Shop will be open for one month at the pet-friendly Roger Smith hotel, 501 Lexington Avenue at 47th Street in Manhattan. Radio Pet Lady Network is “setting up shop” right inside the store, where all the network’s pet radio shows will play in simulcast directly from the studio Monday through Thursday at 8 PM ET. (Visit www.RadioPetLady.com to see the schedule of programs).
Halo had the innovative idea of having a “surprise” pop up space to highlight the needs of animals looking for their forever homes – and the needs of beloved pets for the best possible nutrition. And Radio Pet Lady Network will be broadcasting right into the middle of the fun into the shop.
Tonight on DOG TRAVEL EXPERTS we’ll be saying hello to all the people who travel around New York City with their dogs…and we’ll be giving away prizes to callers! Wednesday night, please call into our DOG TRAVEL EXPERTS show from 8-9pm ET at 888-627-6008. (And don’t forget we’ll be giving away the prize of the winner’s choice in the Prize Kennel to one random caller!)Every night, you’ll have the chance to call into one of the network shows as they broadcast from the pop-up store!
Visitors to the Halo City Tails NYC store have the chance to win prizes like tickets to see the Ellen Show (after all, Ellen DeGeneres is part-owner of Halo!) and donations of Halo foods to your favorite shelter. Can’t make it to New York? Through a social media “Check in for Charity” campaign, pet lovers around the nation can participate in City Tails and “do good for pets” by visiting Halo retailers for a chance to win their favorite shelter 10,000 meals of Halo from Freekibble.com.
If you are anywhere in the New York area, please pick an evening to come to the Corner at 47th and Lexington to listen to Radio Pet Lady Network shows discuss, not only pet travel, but everything from pet cancer to nutrition, cat behavior challenges to dog training advice.
Explains Tracie Hotchner, founder of the Radio Pet Lady Network, “I am proud to be a partner with Halo because we share the same philosophies- transparency, honesty and trustworthy information. Halo is a Founding Sponsor of CAT CHAT & DOG TALK on the Radio Pet Lady Network, and we’re proud to have their support in inspiring and educating pet owners across the country. Now we’re excited to be live right in the middle of the greatest city in the world, celebrating our lives with our dogs and cats.”
