American Idol’s Kimberley Locke to Co-Host Agape Animal Rescue Fundraiser

Weaving fashion with philanthropy, couture-conscious canines will ‘put on the dog’ as they join models on the runway for the fifth annual Glitter and Glam fundraiser for Agape Animal Rescue.

Celebrity Spotting

Fans of former American Idol contestant Kimberley Locke have a song in their hearts thanks to the news that the reality personality will co-host the swank soiree at The Hutton Hotel alongside CMA’s Debut Spotlight Artist Phoenix Stone.

Activities

  • High-profile personalities with a passion for helping pets in need will command the catwalk in creations by Corello, a fashion label seen on such stars as Steven Tyler and Miranda Lambert, while trend-setting tail-waggers will strut in styles by Baxter Bailey & Company, which will donate a portion of sales at the function to the paws cause.
  • Dog devotees can raise their glass to our four-legged friends during a wine tasting.
  • Attendees can place bids on a one-of-a-kind, oversized Thomas Kincaid painting, a Predators 2012- 2013 team autographed jersey and other items totaling more than $15,000.

All of the proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit Agape Animal Rescue, a non-profit which provides foster care for homeless dogs in Middle Tennessee as they wait for the day when they find a forever family to love.

Tickets: $70

When: July 28, 2013 from 5 p.m – 8 p.m.

Where: The Hutton Hotel at 1808 West End Avenue in Nashville, Tennessee
