Winning hearts, and possibly a coveted title in the process, pooches will promenade past celebrity judges for a paws cause as Pup Idol celebrates its fourth year on June 29th.

Actor/animal advocate Peter Egan (Shrimpy in the Downton Abbey 2012 Christmas episode) will join Coronation Street‘s Michelle Collins and Jo Good and Anna Webb from the BBC London radio program The Barking Hour to determine the day’s top dogs in the following categories:

Best rescue and dogs in need of homes
Cutest Pup
Golden Oldie
Miss Hamstead
Mr. Hampstead
Best Dressed
Dog and Pet Parent Lookalike

Taking place in the garden of The Spaniard’s Inn (a Fido-friendly pub in Hampstead), comedian Phil Lassman will host the event, which will also include an auction, raffle and adorable adoptables.

No matter which tail-waggers garner titles, the canines in the care of All Dogs Matter are the real winners of Pup Idol, which rescues and rehomes stray and abandoned dogs in and around London.

When: June 29, 2013 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Where: The Spaniard Inn, Spaniards Road in Hampstead, London
