Hitting a home run with their Fido-and-feline-loving fans, the New York Mets will go to bat for a paws cause twice this fall as the Major League team hosts two Bark in the Park at Citi Field games.
Baseball buffs and their barking buddies can promenade in a Dog Parade before watching all the action from seats in the Pepsi Porch area on September 9th as the Mets face the Washington Nationals, and on the 14th when the team takes on the Miami Marlins.
A happening with heart, all of the proceeds from the dog tickets and a portion from tickets for two-legged sports enthusiasts will benefit the world’s largest no-kill animal rescue and adoption organization, North Shore Animal League America.
Tickets: Dog Ticket- $10; Human Ticket $25 for the September 9th game against the Washington Nationals; $10 for a dog ticket and $40 for a human ticket on September 14th when the Mets play against the Miami Marlins.
