The boys of summer are ready to go to bat for dogs and cats in need as the Durham Bulls host their third Bark in the Park of the season.
On August 7th baseball buffs are invited to bring their barking buddies to watch the Bulls lock horns with the Rochester Red Wings in a game where the real winners will be Fidos and felines from Second Chance Pet Adoptions, the area’s oldest no-kill shelter, who want nothing more than to be a part of a loving pet parent’s home team.
Pet parents and their pups will be seated in Sections 130, 132 or 134 of the Outfield Reserve.
As sports fans feast their eyes on all the action, for the price of a $25 ticket they can dine on hamburgers, hot dogs, fried chicken, mac and cheese, baked beans, and other tasty treats in an all-you-can-eat picnic buffet from the Carolina Hurricanes Home Run Patio.
Admission: Tickets range from $10.99 to $25, with $5 from each ticket purchased benefiting Second Chance Pet Adoptions.
