Hungry to help homeless animals who have been thrown a curve ball by life, on September 8th members of a major league baseball team will mingle with fans at a private event that will provide sustenance for both the stomach and the soul.
Hosted by PAZO restaurant, Chris Davis, Tommy Hunter, Nate McLouth, Darren O’Day and Matt Wieters of the Baltimore Orioles will be among the athletic attendees to celebrate the launch of the 2014 Baltimore Orioles Pet Calendar at Pawz at PAZO– an opportunity for animal-loving baseball buffs to see the players in person; enjoy wine, tapas and music; bid on Orioles-related memorabilia in a silent auction and receive a signed 2014 Orioles Pet Calendar. Proceeds from the evening will benefit the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS), a non-profit organization which helps more than 11,000 animals in need each year.
Long time supporters of BARCS, the O’s posed with four-legged members of their own home team as well as adorable adoptables for the Orioles’ 2014 Pet Calendar, which is now available. (Fans can have their purchased copies of the $15 calendar autographed by players like Wei-Yin Chen, JJ Hardy, Nate McLouth, Troy Patton, Chris Tillman and Matt Wieters on August 17th when the players pay a visit to the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter).
Only a limited number of $100 tickets will be available for Pawz at PAZO. Complimentary valet parking will be available.
When: September 8, 2013 from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
