She’s won a Critics’ Choice Television Award, a Satellite Award and a Teen Choice Award for her portrayal of Penny in the hit CBS comedy The Big Bang Theory, and now actress Kaley Cuoco– who is the 2013 recipient of The Amanda Foundation’s “Worthy of Love” Award– has won the hearts of dog devotees for taking on the role of host of The Big BARK Theory fundraising event.
Presented by Bow Wow Beverly Hills, Rovers will rule Rodeo Drive during an evening complete with:
- Celebrity appearances
- A silent auction (with four tickets to The Voice, including a meet and greet with the judges, just one of the many items up for bid)
- A Tiffany & Co. award ceremony
- The chance for our tail-wagging chums to get into the Howl-oween spirit with a Doggy Costume Contest.
- Tasty treats and beverages (including the “Bazinga!” Martini.)
An annual Halloween happening with heart, proceeds from the costume-optional party– which is part of a rescue week with adoptions of adorable dogs in participating Rodeo Drive stores on October 26th– will help the shelter animals saved by The Amanda Foundation as well as the organization’s free Spaymobile program.
Established in 1976, The Amanda Foundation is a non-profit which has found forever homes for thousands of dogs and cats who were facing their fate in city and county shelters.
Note: Registration for the dog costume contest is $25, with all proceeds benefitting The Amanda Foundation.
Tickets: $60 in advance; $75 at the door; $200 for a VIP ticket, which includes a deluxe gift bag featuring an item from Tiffany and Co.
