Celebrating 65 years of creating brighter tomorrows for canines, cats and wildlife, the Morris Animal Foundation’s inaugural Gala of Hope- An Evening with Betty White will be a golden opportunity for doggedly devoted fans to tell America’s Golden Girl “thank you for being a friend” to animals in need.
Taking place October 19th at the Ritz-Carlton, Marina Del Rey, the event– which will include dinner, music and both a silent and live auction– will shine a spotlight on the ongoing work of the Morris Animal Foundation and the vital role that the star has played as an active trustee and supporter of the nonprofit organization for more than 40 years.
Julie Chang, an entertainment reporter seen on Good Day L.A., will be among the animal-loving attendees who will make an appearance at the gala. “I am honored to be a part the night and to celebrate my good friend Betty White and the Foundation loves she cares for so much,” said Chang.
Established in 1948, The Morris Animal Foundation is a global leader in animal health science, investing more than $70 million for more than 2,000 studies which have brought about breakthroughs in diagnostics, treatments, preventions and cures for animal illnesses.
