Linda Blair to Attend Baltimore Humane Society Fundraiser

LindaActress Linda Blair, who recently celebrated The Exorcist’s 40th year of striking fear into the hearts of film fans, will be honored for years of instilling hope into the hearts of animal lovers as she steps into the role of honoree and key note speaker at the Black Tie & Tails Gala.

The Oscar-nominated star/founder of The Linda Blair WorldHeart Foundation and local honoree Lynn Molnar, the founder of Thankful Paws Pet Food Bank, will be recognized for their efforts to help our four-legged friends in need during an elegant evening which will include an open bar, dancing, live music, raffles and a silent auction, all to raise funds for the Baltimore Humane Society.

Founded in 1927, The Baltimore Humane Society is a no-kill organization which helps to curb the plight of pet overpopulation through low-cost spaying/neutering; saves the lives of animals in the area’s kill shelters, strives to find forever homes for the companion animals in its care, and provides a 343-acre sanctuary for local wildlife.

Tickets: $125 per person (a dog-friendly event, well-mannered pets can attend the gala for free)

When: March 29, 2014 from 6 p.m. – 11 p.m.
