Baseball Star Mark Buehrle Promotes One Million Pibble March

Share with fellow dog lovers!

Stepping off the pitching mound and in front of a camera, Mark Buehrle of the Toronto Blue Jays has shown his support for those who hope to make great strides toward ending BSL (Breed Specific Legislation) by walking in the upcoming One Million Pibble March.

A proud pet parent to four dogs– including Slater, a bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier– Buehrle spent the 2013 baseball season without the company of the two-and four-legged members of his family due to Ontario’s ban on pit bull-type breeds.

Jamie Buehrle, the baseball star’s wife, will be among the pack of animal lovers who will gather in Washington DC on May 3, 2014 to take part in the rally for Rovers who are dogged by prejudice.

The One Million Pibble March is the creation of comedian/Stand Up for Pits Foundation president Rebecca Corry, who has raised spirits as she raises funds for rescue organizations across the country through her Stand up for Pits comedy shows.
