Published by Paper Studio Press, Doris Day Celebration Paper Dolls by David Wolfe honors the animal-loving luminary’s upcoming 90th birthday with an eight-page book containing two likenesses of the classic entertainer that can get all “dolled up” in cut-outs of costumes seen in Calamity Jane;The Man Who Knew Too Much; Lover, Come Back;Tea for Two andApril in Paris, as well as in styles from the star’s TV specials.
As with Paper Studio Press’s previous paper doll presentation Doris Day Paper Dolls Featuring 24 Fashions from Her Films, a portion of the proceeds from each book sale will benefit the Doris Day Animal Foundation.
Authorized by the beloved actress (who composed a personal message for this special edition), advance orders are now being accepted for the $12 Doris Day Celebration Paper Dolls, which will be shipped during the month when the actress will mark her milestone birthday, April 2014.
