Baseball buffs can take their barking buddy to see the New York Mets play ball for a paws cause at three upcoming Bark in the Park games at Citi Field.
Pet parents can promenade with their pup in the Dog Parade before taking their seats in the designated Pepsi Porch area to watch the first pitch.
The first 500 early birds to arrive to see the two-time World Series-winning team take on the Cincinnati Reds on April 6th will each receive a Mets Travel Pet Bowl, and the first 15,000 fans to gather at Citi Field will get a player poster.
When the Mets face the Atlanta Braves on April 19th the first 20,000 sports fans will get to go home with a Shea Canvas print, and on May 11th the first 400 mothers with a ‘fur kid’ will receive a “World’s Best Dog Mom” Mets mug, while all Moms and children age 12 and under will get a T-shirt in honor of Mother’s Day.
A happening with heart, all of the proceeds from the tickets of tail-wagging attendees and a portion of each human ticket will benefit the world’s largest no-kill animal rescue and adoption organization, North Shore Animal League America.
Tickets: $35 for a human ticket and $10 for a dog ticket to attend the April 6th game; $32 for a human ticket and $10 for a dog ticket to the game on April 19th and $35 for a human and $10 for a dog to the May 11th game
