Super Bowl Day Programming Goes to the Dogs!

Sunday means a full day of television programming, all centered around the “Big Game” — a game that’s going to the dogs! We’ve got a roundup here of the special television coverage for pet lovers on this special day:

Kitten Bowl, noon ET

Cat lovers will also find plenty of fluffy fun on the Hallmark Channel at the Kitten Bowl! Hosted by Beth Stern (and watch for Rachael Ray, sharing her brand-new Nutrish cat food line), the event features a whole line up of adoptable cats from North Shore Animal League or Last Hope Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. Tweet along with #KittenBowl to share the fun.

Puppy Bowl, 3pm ET

The annual Puppy Bowl (photo, above) will be held on Animal Planet at 3pm ET. We just love the attention this annual event brings to these super cute adoptables (and watch for 30 adoptable kitties in the Kitty Half-Time Show, too!

    Thank You Paris and John for giving us the time. I sent the times to my son so the triplets could watch the Kitty & Puppy Bowls. They just adopted another cat from the shelter her name is Pixie! She is so cute. Bella (there other cat) wasn’t sure she wanted a sister but they are now the best of buds. They sleep together and play.
