Pittsburgh Pirates To Host Nine Pup Nights at PNC Park

baseballThe leaders of the pack when it comes to helping pets in need, the Pittsburgh Pirates have announced that they are hosting a total of nine Pup Nights at PNC Park this season.

On April 22nd doggedly devoted fans of the Bucs can sit with their barking buddy in the Pirates Deck to watch the Pirates go to bat against the Cincinnati Reds.

Can’t take your canine companion out to the old ballgame to see their favorite team face the Reds on the first Pup Night? You won’t be in the dog house with your tail-wagging chum, as sports-loving Spots can attend a second showdown between the two teams on June 17th. Pup Nights at PNC Park will also take place on May 6th (against the Giants); May 20th (when the Pirates play against the Orioles); July 1st (when the Bucs take on the Arizona Diamondbacks); July 22nd (Pirates vs. L.A. Dodgers); August 5th (when the team faces the Miami Marlins); August 19th (when they battle the Atlanta Braves) and August 26th (Pirates vs. Cardinals).

Dog packages, which consist of one human ticket and one dog ticket, are available for $28. (Each additional human ticket is also $28 each.) A happening with heart, a portion of the proceeds from each game will benefit Philadelphia area animal shelters.
