Stars to Perform at Pet-A-Palooza

PetapaloozaAt the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards she performed “Same Love” with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, and on April 5th Mary Lambert will sing for homeless dogs and cats who want someone to love when she takes the stage at the 15th annual Pet-A-Palooza, presented by and Las Vegas radio station Mix 94.1.

Lambert is just one entertainer in a line-up of animal-loving musical acts who will sing for the sake of a paws cause. Throughout the day fans and Fidos can also enjoy toe-tapping and tail-wagging tunes by indie pop band Youngblood Hawke, who showed their support for shark conservation in their video for the single “We Come Running,” which recently provided the soundtrack to a dramatic scene in the new CW series The 100; Ryan Star, who sang the theme song to the Fox series Lie To Me, and whose music can be heard on The Vampire Diaries and the movie P.S. I Love You; the alt rock band New Politics from Copenhagen, Denmark and Vegas-based singer/songwriter Jered Jones.

When Rovers aren’t rocking out with their pet parents, they can try to win a prize in one of the pet contests, including best Small Dog, Big Dog, Hairiest Dog, Chubby Puppy and Mr, and Mrs. Pet-A-Palooza.
