The Most Interesting Man in the World (aka actor/dog devotee Jonathan Goldsmith) has issued a challenge to the entertainment world’s new king of late night TV to help efforts to bring about the dawn of a new day in the battle against pet cancer.
Goldsmith recently stepped in front of a camera with his canine companion to promote Morris Animal Foundation’s upcoming Unite to Fight Virtual Pet Cancer Walk. Pet parents around the globe are presently pledging to take their Spot for a stroll on June 22nd as a way to take steps toward winning the struggle against a disease which has taken too many of our barking buddies and purring pals.
Knowing that Jimmy Fallon is a fellow famous friend of Fidos, Goldsmith is calling on the comedic talk show host to join with him and other animal lovers by signing up to take part in the Unite to Fight Pet Cancer Walk. Fans can help Morris Animal Foundation recruit Fallon for the paws cause by sending him a Tweet at @JimmyFallon using the hashtag #AskFallon.
“Morris Animal Foundation is working with the best veterinary scientists in the world to help us better understand pet cancer,” said David Haworth, DVM, PhD, president/CEO of Morris Animal Foundation. “The #AskFallon challenge via social media will help our Foundation reach many pet owners who are not quite familiar with the work we are doing to make the world a better place for their pets.”
Pet parents who wish to participate in the virtual walk can register at http://fightpetcancer.org.
