Raising the roof to help those who woof (or meow!), hard rock musicians with a soft spot for animals will strike a chord of compassion with patrons at a pub in Huntington Beach at a head-banging happening with a lot of heart.
Two cast members of America’s favorite classic TV family– The Brady Bunch‘s Susan Olsen (“Cindy Brady”) and Robbie Rist (“Cousin Oliver”) will help Fidos and felines who need forever families by amping up interest in the event, with Susan Olsen selling ‘The Art of Rescue’ pieces.
The following bands will take the stage to help set the stage for a better tomorrow for our four-legged friends in need:
Ed Force One (A tribute to Iron Maiden)
Memory Layne (an Alice in Chains tribute band)
Uncle Jonnies Playhouse (a classic rock band)
The $10 cover will benefit both Petopia, which is a multi-rescue pet adoption center located in Woodland Hills, and Brittany Foundation Sanctuary, a non-profit in Acton which often concentrates on helping dogs who have difficulties finding homes, including those who have been abused, are elderly, or suffer from people’s prejudice.
