The Cleveland Indians are getting ready to play ball for a paws cause as the team invites baseball buffs and their barking buddies to Puppypalooza at Progressive Field.
Taking place June 17th, prior to the first pitch pet parents and their pooches can promenade in a puppy parade during the pre game ceremonies, then take their seats in a designated section to watch the Tribe take on the Los Angeles Angels. (Rovers will be able to relieve themselves at a space by the East Ninth Street Patio, and veterinarians from Banfield Pet Hospitals will be available in case of an emergency.)
A happening with heart, a portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Cleveland Animal Protective League, a non-profit which has been helping homeless animals since 1913.
When: June 17, 2014 (registration begins at 5:30 p.m.; game starts at 7:05 p.m.)
Where: Progressive Field at 2401 Ontario Street in Cleveland, Ohio
