Miss Sprint Cup Stars Promote Pet Adoption

SprintAs Miss Sprint Cup representatives they keep race car fans on track with the latest NASCAR news and interviews, and as fans of Fidos and felines Madison Martin and Kim Coon are steering attention to the option of pet adoption.

Helping dogs and cats who are counting the days until they find forever homes, Martin and Coon recently stepped in front of the camera for the upcoming 2015 NASCAR Pets calendar with some adorable adoptables from The Humane Society of Charlotte, a non-profit organization which has united dogs and cats in need with loving pet parents since 1978. (One lucky alum of The Humane Society of Charlotte is Buddy, the canine companion of Miss Sprint Cup Madison Martin.)

The NASCAR Pets calendar benefits The Greg Biffle Foundation, which was founded by the NASCAR star and his wife Nicole in 2005 to offer aid to animals in need through community outreach programs and grants for humane societies and animal shelters across the country. Sports stars who have shown their support for the fundraising venture in the past include Dale Earnhart, Jr., Kyle Busch, Danica Patrick, David Ragan, Tony Stewart, and Kyle and Richard Petty.
