Norfolk Tides Help Homeless Pets with Bark in the Park

Pups2Helping to turn the tide for companion animals in need, for the second time this season the Norfolk Tides will host a Bark in the Park night.

Taking place on August 17th, doggedly devoted fans of the minor league baseball team and their sports-loving Spots can watch the Tides take on the Gwinnett Braves from their seats in section 217 and 219 in Harbor Park.

All of the proceeds from each $5 ticket purchased for four-legged fans will benefit Norfolk Animal Care and Adoption Center in Norfolk, Virginia, which provides comfort and care for approximately 6,000 canines, cats, kittens, puppies and other small adoptable animals each year.

When: August 17, 2014 (Game starts at 6:05 p.m.)

Where: Harbor Park at 150 Park Avenue in Norfolk, Virginia
