Celebrities to Help Homeless Pets at 16th Annual Broadway Barks

BroadwayThey’ve been waiting in the wings, hoping for that one big break that will land them starring roles in the lives of forever pet parents, and on July 12th adoptable dogs and cats from New York City shelters and rescue organizations will have their chance to lap up the limelight as the curtain rises on the 16th edition of Broadway Barks!

Produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the annual adoption event– which was co-founded in 1999 by Bernadette Peters and Mary Tyler Moore– will include a presentation of adoptable pets by the following animal-loving luminaries:

Along with the showcase of adoptable pets by a plethora of high-profile pals to those with paws, Broadway buffs can also place bids on an array of celebrity-autographed memorabilia during a fundraising auction.

Admission: FREE

When: July 12, 2014 beginning at 3 p.m.; celebrity presentation of adoptable pets from 5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Where: Shubert Alley, located between 44th and 45th Streets in Manhattan
