Pit Boss star Shorty Rossi, who has helped to make great strides in promoting a positive image of dogs who are so often unjustly hounded by people’s prejudice, will attend a day of dogged devotion where strollers will take steps toward creating a better tomorrow for Santa Barbara County’s animals in need.
Fans of the Animal Planet personality can see Shorty and his faithful four-legged pal Hercules at the 13th annual A Cause 4 Paws pledge walk and festival, which will not only include promenading pet parents and their pups, but also a pet fair complete with carnival games, contests, a food court, bake sale, live entertainment and a spotlight on adorable, adoptable dogs.
A day of play with a higher purpose, proceeds from the event will help homeless dogs, cats and rabbits at Santa Barbara County Animal Foundation’s three county shelters in Santa Barbara, Santa Maria and Lompoc.
Admission: Free (Tickets to take part in the Cause 4 Paws walk start at $20 for early bird registration, which continues until September 20th.)
When: September 28, 2014 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
