When it comes to helping dogs in need we as animal lovers wear our heart on our sleeves, and now thanks to just-launched campaign friends of Fidos can display their dogged devotion to a paws cause by donning animal advocacy-themed apparel which is helping to design a better tomorrow for breeds commonly referred to as Pit Bulls.
Wearable Hope, a charitable initiative created by the team at Austin, Texas-based BuildASign.com, launched a week-long campaign on August 19th with the Austin non-profit organization Love-A-Bull which features affordable fashion with compassion in the form of custom-designed T-shirts.
$10 from the sale of each $20 T-shirt will benefit Love-A-Bull, which rescues and rehomes Pit Bulls while battling against the injustice of BSL (Breed Specific Legislation) and promoting responsible pet guardianship. The remainder of the proceeds will be invested back into BuildASign.com’s Giving Program, which provides in-kind support and assistance to non-profits across the country. To date, Wearable Hope has donated more than $22,000 back to 36 partner organizations through its weekly campaigns.
