Doris Day 90th Birthday Celebration DVD Helps Animals in Need

DorisShe’s tickled our funny bones in classic comedies like Pillow Talk and Move Over, Darling, and now Doris Day has touched our hearts as a DVD of her recent 90th birthday celebration helps to give the gift of a better tomorrow to animals in need.

Doggedly devoted fans who were unable to attend the weekend-long salute to the perennial star can feel like virtual guests thanks to cameras which captured all of the festivities, which took place this past April in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. The DVD chronicles a tribute concert, a fashion show featuring four-legged models, and a gala which included a surprise appearance by the beloved birthday girl.

The 90th Birthday Celebration DVD is now available for a minimum donation of $35 to the Doris Day Animal Foundation, which offers grants to non-profit animal welfare organizations across the country; helps veterinarians in training through the Doris Day and Terry Melcher Scholarship at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, and funds the medical expenses of injured and/or elderly shelter animals thanks to the Duffy Day Life Saving Program.

NOTE: The 90th Birthday Celebration DVD is also available for $45 for international orders. The DVD is encoded for use in U.S. DVD players and may not play on some international DVD players, although fans outside of the U.S. can play the DVD on any computer.
