A better tomorrow for dogs and cats who have been dealt a bad hand in life is in the cards thanks to a professional poker player who is a queen of hearts when it comes to paws causes.
On November 14th The Mezz at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas will be a full house of famous faces as a plethoras of high-profile pals to those with paws arrive for the Jennifer Harman Celebrity Poker Tournament. Hosted by the famous winner of two World Series of Poker bracelets, the list of stars who will show their support for companion animals in need includes:
Zak Bagans (Ghost Adventures)
Julie Benz (Dexter, Defiance, Angel, Roswell)
Lance Burton (iconic magician)
Charisma Carpenter (Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Lying Game)

A happening with heart, all of the proceeds from the event benefits The Nevada SPCA, a no-kill animal shelter which cares for approximately 1,000 adoptable companion animals on a daily basis.
