Milwaukee Brewers’ Mascot Helps Arizona Humane Society

Share with fellow dog lovers!

HankA former homeless dog who scored a home run in the hearts of the Milwaukee Brewers when he walked on to the major league team’s Arizona training camp in 2014 is getting ready to pitch the option of pet adoption at a Brewers’ spring training game against the Cleveland Indians.

Baseball buffs can meet Hank “The Ballpark Pup” (who has been adopted by the Brewers) on March 28th at Maryvale Baseball Park during a fundraising event for the Arizona Humane Society which will feature a line up of adorable adoptables who are dreaming of the day when they will hear a forever pet parent say “Let’s play ball!”

The Arizona Humane Society states that for a volunteer contribution to the paws cause the philanthropic Fido will pose for fan photos on the right field concourse after the Famous Klement’s Sausage Race during the sixth inning. To ensure Hank’s comfort at the event, the photo op will be approximately 30 minutes in length, so the number of fans who can take a snapshot with the sports-loving Spot will be limited.

Having participated in several events for the benefit of both the Arizona Humane Society and the Wisconsin Humane Society since taking on the title of a celebrity pup, this Rover is no rookie when it comes to helping his fellow friends with fur. The following clip offers a look back at one of Hank’s first fundraising appearances in 2014:
